Professional Saddle-stitching Book Printing

If the page count is small or the book is to be thin, it’s best to select saddle-stitching.

You can set the book size anyway you want, and there’s no limit to paper selection. We offer a wide variety of papers on our online print quote system. Saddle-stitching is a good choice for both small product catalogs and large number of magazines.

Size Limitation

Depending on the method of binding, the horizontal and vertical sizes of books are limited to the minimum or maximum size.

You need to consider

the margins to be cut for the final size of the book.

Book Size

For example, if your book size is 8.5x11”, the size of the work must be 8.75x11.25” which includes 0.125” bleed to be trimmed off.

Located inside the trim line

Body content and logos must be inside the trim line.

Extended Outside the trim Line

The image or background color should be extended to the working size outside the trim line.

Please check whether below guidelines are met.

Font

The font size should be at least 6pt so that it’s not too small. In order to submit the print file, all fonts used should be embedded and outlined.

Black Text

For black texts, it should be set to K-value only so that the letters are clearly displayed when printed.

Image Resolution

Image resolution is recommended at least 300 dpi if the image is important.

Font License

Please be aware of the font license when converting. Certain types may lose their fonts when converted to PDF due to license issues.

First, please prepare your art files.

If the art file is ready, please enter the book specification and quantity (additional option) you want.

Then, please enter the delivery method and information related to the delivery.

Finally, please submit the order. If there is no order you want, please let us know by email.

After confirming the order, please upload your prepared art files in [My Account]→ [Order List].

As soon as we check your art file, we will start proof process. The time required depends on the file.

When the Proof stage is over, we will upload the proof file on your order list and notify it.

And then, please deposit the order amount. Once your payment are checked, we will start production.

* Please note that the production takes around 5 business days and the proof procedure is not included in the production period.

You can get your art quickly.

If you want to receive your order quickly, please select Air Express when you check the shipping cost. Air Delivery require 1-2 business days for handling time and take 3 to 5 business days for delivery.

We can also deliver a lot of your products.

If you ordered a large quantity, we recommend you should choose Ocean and Trucking. It takes around 24 days. If you choose Ocean and Trucking, the Shipping/Trucking schedule are variable, so the final order price will be recalculated based on the expected production completion time. Also, we will inform you of the arrival schedule again based on the estimated time of production completion.
